Yes, the United "Express" minions did their worst yesterday. Again they lied (said a plane was in the air when it wasn't, etc.). Again they whined. Again me hates gate agents. We were among the lucky ones though. The poor people in the area going to White Plains were oversold by five seats. No one was budging as they announced their fabulous compensation offer over and over again. It was also mildly amusing how the dumbasses scheduled Springfield, IL and Springfield, MO to go out of the same gate back to back, and the gate agents couldn't be bothered to say which "Springfield" they were making an announcement about. We got home and it was only two hours late. As I boarded the plane I thought of turning around at the jet-way door and yelling, "So long suckers!" Sarah thought that would be cruel, but I think I would have got some laughs and applause. I have a great picture of a courtesy phone at O'hare that is worth a thousand words. I should get that off my camera and post it.
